I was commissioned by a representative at American Airlines to illustrate a special welcome sign for a young visitor named Charlie that had recently overcome a battle with cancer. I created an illustration of the Flagship Knoxville displayed inside the headquarters, along with the catchy “Bravo Charlie” phrase in reference to the phonetic alphabet. Charlie and his family were invited for a VIP tour of the AA building in Dallas, Texas where they were greeted by the artwork occupying the enormous lobby screen
